The Sandlot Comes to Barman Park, July 5

by kingstonparksmovies

the sandlotWell movie fans our first two movies have been cancelled, but we are back to try again.  Last Friday’s Harry Potter was certainly less than magical…  Each cancelled film will be rescheduled for the end of the season.  A collective fingers and toes crossing for decent weather is in order.  We do our best to post weather related cancellations by 5:00pm.

Join us this Friday at Barman Park/Knothole League Field for a presentation of the Sandlot.  The Knothole League has lots of fun surprises and games for the kids and the Kingston Candy Bar, the emporium of deliciousness, will be making Smore’s to go along with the movie theme.  Sponsored by Binnewater, you can expect plenty of delightful cool refreshing water and the 99 Restaurant is once again providing yummy popcorn.

So just where is this park?? The Knothole League Field is located at the intersection of Clinton and Greenkill Avenues, across from the Boys and Girls Club.  Parking is available on-street and the Citibus Trolley will also be running.

If the weather looks frightful, the movie and location will be rescheduled to a back up rain date at the end of the season.  Check the website for details on movie night.  We will always post weather cancellations by 5:00pm each movie night.
